A startup called Sherpaa, which recently raised $4 million in a Series A round, is offering medical assistance through a mobile application. «We can use our investment for growth, rather than sustenance,» said Jay Parkinson, a medical doctor and the company’s CEO. Companies pay $15 to $30 per employee for access to Sherpaa’s app, which their employees can use to resolve medical problems with the assistance of Sherpaa’s staff physicians.
